This time the blackout is for good reason and we had much better time to prepare. The last “ wind storm” shut humboldt off because the way the power grid was lain out, not necessity.
The range is electric so this is how the coffee reheat is goin
Looks like theres a rather large fire sparked by winds around Sonoma too.

Somehow I really doubt that forcing people to use camp stoves, candles, etc. reduces overall fire risk. I’m sure it reduces PG&E’s fire liability though.

And the fact that a large fire started anyways

I have an interview in the Bay area on Tuesday. This worries me but can be dealt with. We have regular power outages here but usually caused by extreme cold and ice storms so the weather is deadly without power.
We ready have an emergency out of power kit and it'll sure as hell move with us.

You’ve got a battery powered CO monitor, right? Because those camp stoves can make a lot of CO.
Or leave a couple windows open.

No but it’s not running for long or in any small space.
Good to know though

Careful using those stoves indoors without ventilation . They produce CO.
Nice 30-30!

I’m trying to determine if that’s a .22 LR lever action or a BB/pellet gun?
Also , I’m not so sure I could even get my finger inside the trigger guard...?
Good luck with the power outage. I hope we can avoid fires here on the Central Coast.
